Carpenter Consulting Partners, Inc. was founded in California in late 2017 by Maïa C. Carpenter, with over 20 years of experience as an Founder, Director, Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant. She serves as CEO and regularly contracts highly skilled personnel on a per-project basis. She consults and coaches clients globally across multiple sectors: Tech, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Fintech, Education, Nonprofit, Hospitality, Real Estate, Media and Management Consultancies.
Previously, Maïa was Chief of Staff at Coinbase where as an early employee she helped the first-time founders grow the company and led diversity and inclusion initiatives. Before this, she partnered with notable Silicon Valley leaders, entrepreneurs and investors in SaaS, Venture Capital, Private Equity and Biotech/Pharma. She also founded and directed an educational nonprofit, Canyon Cinema Foundation, based in Bayview Hunters Point, SF and is currently a Director at several nonprofit Boards in the SF Bay Area.
Originally from NY and bicultural (French/American), she has a BA from Barnard College, Columbia University and an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Early in her career she was a filmmaker and curator for galleries, film festivals and museums. She is a certified coach (CPCC, ACC) from the Co-Active Training Institute and the International Coaching Federation.
She loves the raw beauty of Northern California and enjoys hiking and riding vintage motorcycles with her spouse in her free time.
