I founded Carpenter Consulting Partners, Inc. in 2017 to consult on administrative operations and the working relationship between leaders and support roles including Executive Operations, Chiefs of Staff, Executive Business Partners and Assistants. As a former hiring manager, I found that offering a bespoke recruiting service compliments my consulting services. In the process of founding my business, I became a certified executive and leadership coach (CPCC, PCC, Integrative Enneagram). With over 2000 hours of professional coaching experience, and a diversity of coaching clients that range from CEOs of public companies, new people managers, Chiefs of Staff in tech, educators, journalists, artists and entrepreneurs -- I am constantly in awe of human potential.
Previously, I scaled and led large teams as the Global Head of Administrative Operations at Asana and the Global Lead of Executive Operations at Block (Square). I've had a 20+ year career as an Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff in crypto, fintech, private equity, venture capital, tech, and biotech.
For 10 years I was a film and video artist and exhibited at The Whitney Museum of American Art, The British Film Institute, The Director's Guild of America and on PBS television amongst others. In 2012 I co-founded the educational nonprofit Canyon Cinema Foundation and have been a dedicated nonprofit Board Director for over 15 years in the SF Bay Area.
I'm originally from New York, am bicultural (French+ American), a mother to an inspiring little human and spouse to a creative soul. My enneagram tri-type is 1/4/6: the philosopher. I relish cooking and sharing meals, international travel, architecture, gardening, and vintage motorcycle riding. My spouse, Jean-Philippe Defaut and I have just launched a bespoke vintage car travel project here and we're starting a new coaching venture to support adolescents and young adults as they navigate the present and future.
I'm an advocate for for LGBTQIA+ and underrepresented minority rights.
